Hvar (local Croatian dialect: Hvor or For, Greek: Pharos, Φαρος, Latin: Pharina, Italian: Lesina) is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea, located off the Dalmatian coast. The island measures approximately 80 km, east to west and is a tourist destination.
